Song for Reconciliation : ウィキペディア英語版 | Song for Reconciliation
"Song for Reconciliation" is a song composed by Paul Kelly and Kev Carmody and told the story of the 1966 Gurindji Strike led by Vincent Lingiari. The new versioni of the song was recorded in 2008 by The Herd featuring Kelly, Missy Higgins and Urthboy and includes excerpts from Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's apology to the Australian Aboriginal population over the Stolen Generation and former Prime Minister Paul Keating. ==Commentary== The song has been described, in various ways, as an anthem of the reconciliation movement within Australia. Former Midnight Oil frontman and current Minister for the Environment, Peter Garret, referred to the song as "an anthem for all Australians".
